We asked the artist, what was your inspiration for the bowl?
Born and raised in central Florida much of my childhood was spent at Grandmas’. She lived in a little cracker house that was tucked away in a citrus grove. My grandma didn’t have much money, but she always had a big bowl on her table filled with citrus and nuts. And I loved plundering through it. Nobody had better citrus than my grandma! My hope is that this piece helps fill another person’s bowl with food and fond memories. Everyone deserves a full belly and a happy heart. ~ Emily Pavlik, Artist
